2013 is our 34th year of raising Miniature Horses. We look forward to many more years. Valley View Farm is a small farm located in southeastern South Dakota. We bought our first miniatures in 1979. Since then, we have bred for the Arabian "look" in the miniature horse with good confirmation, disposition and color. Our senior stallion Valley View Jet Stream has been the backbone of our breeding program for many years. Jet is getting up in years, so in the last few years we have added a few new stallions. We feel our newest boys will compliment our “Jet bred” mares.

People are asking me why I am buying Shetlands. In all the years that Roger and I have had Miniature horses, we always bought/owned what we personally like to see in our barn or pastures..... And I really love the look of Shetlands! Although I don't plan on having a huge herd, I may have a foal available from time to time. Continually striving for---- “Arabian Type - With Color”
